Calc-Silicates
The popular Kota-stone of Rajasthan are geologically the flaggy calc-silicates, which are well-bedded and easily worked stone. Similar types of calc-silicate deposits are found to occur in Gola-Petarwar areas of Hazaribagh district as well as Tirionala area of Giridih district.More resources:
